Restoring the heritage crafts, honouring tradition.

Director and Master French Polisher

This is Stewart, Director of The Wooden Mouse and French Polisher wearing a white t-shirt and smiling, looking very relaxed.
This is Stewart, Director of The Wooden Mouse working in the workshop,  polishing a small dark wood occasional table with a dark green inlay on the surface.

Stewart has been a French Polisher for over 30 years, having gained his qualifications with the City and Guilds. Over the years, he has worked as a French polisher and furniture restorer for John Lewis, Claridges and The Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington.
